Poseidon Variscite is a highly collectible, rare green mineral mined in Central Nevada. Often mistaken for green turquoise, it is celebrated by collectors for its vibrant minty-green color and stark, contrasting dark webbing.

Origin and Characteristics

The Source: It is mined in the hills of Nevada (near the Black Hills region) by the well-known Otteson family, who also operate other famous sites like the Royston turquoise mine. Visual Appeal: The stone ranges from pale yellows to bright, minty greens, heavily accented by an intricate black "spiderweb" or chert matrix.
