Broken Arrow Variscite

Broken Arrow Variscite is a rare, highly prized mineral sourced from the Candelaria Mining District near Tonopah, Nevada. Mined by us. Known for glassy emerald and mint-green hues, it features a distinct nude-to-pink or webbed matrix and is uniquely extracted from the same site as authentic turquoise. 
Distinct Characteristics
Mineral Composition: Unlike turquoise, variscite is a hydrated aluminum phosphate that contains no copper, which allows it to hold a vivid, pure green color.
Matrix: Stones showcase beautiful "broken arrow" shaped matrix lines in pink, nude, and light-gray colors.
Appearance: It is typically translucent with a vitreous (glassy) luster that takes a high-quality polish. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Location: The Broken Arrow mine (owned by the Otteson family) is highly notable for being one of the only documented sites to produce both high-grade variscite and "big nugget" turquoise simultaneously. [
